Mohammed Benayoune, BSc, MEng, PhD
Dr Mohammed Benayoune started his career in academia where he took several leadership positions, including chairman of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sultan Qaboos University in the Sultanate of Oman.
After 15 years as a professor, Dr Benayoune moved to the Ministry of Oil and Gas in Oman, where he was advisor in the Minister’s Office. He was entrusted with the leadership of several mega oil, gas and petrochemical projects. He led the establishment of the companies to develop the projects, he also led the evaluation, selection and negotiation various agreements including those for licensed technologies, engineering, financing, long terms sales and construction. He led the recruitment of all senior staff for these companies.
At one point in his career, he was the CEO of three petrochemical companies at the same time for a period of over two years. These were Oman Polypropylene LLC, Aromatics Oman LLC and Liwa Petrochemicals Co. LLC. He was entrusted with such a responsibility because of his commitment to results in a timely manner while challenging prevailing perceptions.
Over the past three years, Dr Benayoune has been busy establishing the Achievement Centre in the Middle East and has secured a number of major clients from various sectors. The Achievement Cente provides leadership and organizational development as well human capital risk management.
Dr Benayoune is currently serving as advisor to a number of major companies in the Middle East. He has lived and worked on four continents and speaks three languages. He has worked or negotiated with organizations from various parts of the world and is well attuned with the subtleties of the various cultures.
Mohammed holds a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Aston in Birmingham, UK, Master and PhD degrees from the University of Leeds, UK. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (UK), he is registered with the UK Engineering Council as Chartered Engineer and with the UK Science Council as Chartered Scientist.

Dr Mohammed Benayoune a débuté sa carrière dans le milieu universitaire où il a pris plusieurs postes de direction, y compris le président du Département de Génie Mécanique à l'Université Sultan Qaboos dans le Sultanat d'Oman.
Après 15 ans en tant que professeur, Dr Benayoune a été retenue par le Ministère du pétrole et du gaz à Oman, comme conseiller du ministre. Il a été chargé de diriger plusieurs méga projets de Gas, raffinage et transformations pétrochimiques. Il a dirigé la création des entreprises pour développer ces projets, comme il a dirigé l'évaluation, la sélection et la négociation des différents accords, y compris ceux des licences de technologies, l'ingénierie, le financement, les accords de vente à long termes et de la construction. Il a également dirigé le recrutement de tous les hauts fonctionnaires de ces entreprises.
À un moment donné de sa carrière, il a été le Président-Directeur General de trois sociétés pétrochimiques en même temps pour une période de plus de deux ans. Il a été chargé d'une telle responsabilité en raison de son engagement sur les résultats en temps opportun tout en contestant les conceptions prévalant.
Au cours des trois dernières années, le Dr Benayoune a été occupé par la création du Centre de Réussite s dans le Moyen-Orient et a réussi à signer un certain nombre contrats avec des clients majeurs de divers secteurs.
Dr Benayoune est actuellement conseiller à un certain nombre de grandes sociétés au Moyen-Orient. Il a vécu et travaillé sur quatre continents et parle trois langues. Il a travaillé ou négociée avec les organisations de diverses régions du monde et est bien adapté avec les subtilités des différentes cultures.
Dr Benayoune est titulaire d'un diplôme d’ingénieur en Génie Chimique de l'Université d'Aston, Birmingham, Royaume-Uni, Maitrise et Doctorat de l'Université de Leeds, Royaume-Uni. Il est Fellow de l’Institution des Ingénieurs de Génie Chimique (Royaume-Uni), il est enregistré avec l’Ordre des Ingénieurs en tant qu’Ingénieur Agréé et avec l’Ordre des Scientifiques en tant que Scientifique Agréé.
